Friday December 15 2006 Station 44 was called to assist on a 49 dwelling box on Peters Rd in Salisbury Twp. The additional info included a report of multiple calls and possible entrapment. A 49 chief in the area confirmed a working fire and requested additional units. The fire apparently initiated from an explosion and rapidly involved the sub floor and first floor while being fed by a northwest wind. Tanker 44 set up a dump site for the tanker shuttle operation. Engine 441 crew assisted in fire attack while other crews attempted to locate the victim. When the bulk of the fire was knocked down it was determined that the structure was not safe to switch to an offensive attack. The recovery of the victim was made by breaching a wall on the charlie side. Truck 42 went to the roof to access the attic fire. Martins Mulch was a key factor in overhaul operations which included demolition of the structure. Company 44 was clear of the scene at 0127 hrs.
