Last evening (March 30th), the company held its annual banquet. We would like to thank West Earl Engine 29-1 for standing by and allowing our members to enjoy each others fellowship. We also have to thank Ridgeview Mennonite Church for the use of their hall and BBQ Supply, Bevanda, Peaceful Valley Amish Furniture, Esh Hardware & Farm Supply, Kings Homestead, Kitchen Kettle Village, Carriage House Furnishings, Stoltzfus Meats & Deli, WL Zimmerman & Sons, Hoober Inc., Amish View Inn & Suites, Corner Coffee Shop, The Old Candle Barn, Immergut Hand-Rolled Soft Pretzels, The Old Woodshed, Sunny Slope Tree Service, DS Stoves and The Country Cupboard For the wonderful door prizes. We honored Lt. Jonas Fisher as the Firefighter of the Year, and five other members as the top responders of 2021.
It was pointed out that collectively, each member spent 96 hours responding to incidents and an additional 96 hours in training. This is outstanding for a small, rural, all-volunteer fire company.
The members would like to express our sincere appreciation for your generosity with our 2021 Fund Drive. We realize that it has not been a typical year but your donations have made it possible for us to met the budgetary needs of the Fire Company. Thank you!
There is still time, if you have not sent in your donation.
We look forward to seeing everyone in 2022 at our great fund raisers starting in April.
