pOn Thursday eve at 1711 hrs Station 44 along with Ambulance 432 were dispatched to East Newport Rd amp New Holland Rd for a vehicle accident with injuries. Deputy 44 Yoder arrived and established command. EMS personnel on the scene reported multiple patients injured and command requested 2 medics and additional ambulances. pOn Monday evening after the company meeting Station 44 placed into service the 2011 Pierce Impel PUC pumper designated as Engine 441. Engine 441 will be the primary unit on our 1st due fires and vehicle accidents.ppThe 90 International E-One Engine will be designated as Engine 445 and will mainly be used as a support unit including but not limited to water supply fill-sites lighting extra cribbing and oil dry and will also be equipped for brush fires.p

pThe following pictures show the chassis going down the chassis sub assembly line. During this process the components related to the chassis are installed. Near the end of this line the cab and pump house will be installed. The painted cab module is going down the cab sub assembly line where wiring harnesses lighting instrument and switch panels seats and windows are installed. The cab will go thru electrical output testing before being installed on the chassis.p

pOn Monday morning at 0902 hrs Station 4-4 Rescue 4-2 Ambulance 4-3-1 and Medic 9 were dispatched to 4039 Old Philadelphia Pike for a vehicle accident with entrapment. LCWC advised responding units that a truck hit a buggy and then struck a tree. Upon arrival Deputy 4-4 Yoder established command and confirmed that the flat-bed truck had struck a tree and the driver was heavily trapped. Medic 9 requested Aeromedical PennStar 4 to fly due to the heavy entrapment of the occupant while firefighters worked for about 50 minutes to free the driver. pOn Monday April 25 Station 4-4 and Gordonville EMS were dispatched to the 3700 block of Ridge Rd in Leacock Twp. for a 2 vehicle accident with injuries. Upon arrival crews found a car versus a pick-up truck towing a trailer. 1 patient was transported to a Lancaster hospital.p

pOn Saturday evening at 2310 hrs Tanker 4-4 was dispatched as part of the 1st alarm assignment to assist Station 4-7 Paradise on a commercial building fire at 3105 Lincoln Hwy East which was formerly the Wagon Wheel Restaurant. Chief 4-7 arrived and found an unoccupied diner with fire thru the roof and requested 2nd alarm. Tanker 4-4 set-up a port-a-tank operation while Engine 4-4-1 set-up to draft for a relay operation at the creek in the area of the Revere Tavern. pShortly after midnight Station 4-4 Rescue 3-9 Liberty Ambulance 4-3-1 Gordonville EMS and Medic 9 Ephrata were dispatched to the 200 block of North Hollander Rd for a vehicle accident involving fire. Units went en-route and were advised that there was patients lying on the roadway. Crews arrived and confirmed a working car fire with 3 subjects ejected and one of them deceased and also updated the address to 315 North Hollander Rd. Command requested additional Ambulances and another Medic to respond. 2 patients were transported to a Lancaster Hospital. Crews were on the scene to assist Pennsylvania State Police with lighting and traffic control while they reconstructed the accident. Units went available at 0747 hrs. Our condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.p
