The mission of the Intercourse Fire Company is to serve the community and its visitors by protecting lives and property. In addition to promoting safety , we are committed to providing prompt , skillful and cost effective fire protection and life safety services to our community.

Vision Statement
We will strive to become role models in our community and promote a positive environment to inspire teamwork of our crews.

Value Statement
Duty: Our members are obligated to perform respectfully by moral, legal and ethical values.
Honor: Operating in all fairness and being courteous , respecting the service recipient by taking responsibility for all his/her actions
Trust: To perform in a professional manner and to retain the confidence of the community so they can expect a positive outcome of events.
Integrity: We demonstrate our values by the way we live our life in public or with the crews at the firehouse.
Volunteer: Service willingly without pay by a person who’s actions are not founded on any legal obligation but from the willingness of their heart.
